Our Week in Pictures

During our time out furthering our exploration of the city, we discovered this rare gem...THE WORLDS TALLEST TIN SOLDIER!

While we were on a family walk, we passed by this old, rusty, tractor in front of a General Store and Hudson screamed "TRACTOR! I want to Ride it!"

Daddy constructed a Hammock made out of a bed sheet and now Hudson wants to be in it all the time! He reads books, watches movies, and even naps in it! The other night, he went so far as to request to be served dinner in his hammock!

Hudson was playing with some foam stickers and decided that if he placed them on his face it would make him a "Superhero." I guess it makes sense since Superhero's wear masks, hoods, etc. so why not stickers? ;)

We went to a craft fair last Friday (and when I say we, I mean Hudson and I ~ Bo was not feeling it ;)
Hudson's favorite booth was the "make your own candy necklace booth" (bottom photo) however, he never made a necklace, he just kept going back to get more cups of candy to eat.

To continue with what ended up being the theme of the week (Superhero's and Crafting,) Bo and Hudson made a Superhero bobble head - Hudson insists that it is Aquaman, and I have to admit that it does bare a slight resembalence ( at least in color scheme ;)

"Ooo Can-a-da"

An update on our travels:
We left VA a few weeks ago and spend some time in WA with Bo's family, before we headed up to Canada.  We have been in Canada a few weeks now for "training, part II" and are starting to get into the swing of things.  A few things that we are currently getting used to are:
1)  Not having a car and getting around solely on public transport (which is a skill that I am pleased to say we have all but mastered ;)
2) Bringing your own bags shopping ( here in CA, you pay for each grocery bag the store gives you, so we are learning to Never leave the house without a "re-usable sack" -as they call them here)
3) Living on the 27th floor of an apartment building- (which is interesting when you leave the building and realize that you forgot something and have to spend 10 minutes just getting back to you room)
Other than that, it is pretty much the Northwest...Rainy, Wet , but surrounded with Beautiful views of mountains.

Hudson had the opportunity to "drive" the sky train!.  He pretty much just honked the horn because the whole system is automated, but it was still exciting for him!

s
Family Trip to Stanely Park.

Happy Easter! Sunday Morning Easter Egg Hunt in the apartment.

Enjoying Spaghetti, it was a Super Messy Dinner!
Visiting the Vancouver Aquarium. The seal kept following the sunglasses. Hudson
                                        couldn't stop giggling at it.

Some things you can be Lifting Up:
1. Our health, we have been feeling a little under-the-weather recently.
2) That we would make the most of our time here- taking every opportunity to share His light.
